Asa Higuchi

Asa Higuchi (Japaneseひぐち アサHiguchi Asa, born in 1970 in Urawa (now Urawa -ku, Saitama ) ) is a Japanese manga artist.

Higuchi studied after graduating from high school psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Hosei University.

In 1998 she took part in the competition of the Shiki manga magazine Afternoon and won with her ​​short story Yuku Tokoro, which then appeared in the August issue of Afternoon and that was their first release as a professional illustrator. From February until May 2000 published Asa her first longer work, Kazoku no Sorekara, in the Afternoon. The approximately 230 -page family drama was released in June 2001 as an anthology by Kodansha publishing house.
