Asella
Assela (also Asela, Asella ) is a town in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. The place is located 170 km south of Addis Ababa at an altitude of 2430 m. For 2006, it is assumed that a population of 61 347.
Asella was the capital of the province of Arsi was dissolved to this in 1994 in an administrative reform. As the seat of administration for the Arsi region of the city are still some administrative functions.
