Ashridge#Bridgewater Monument

The Bridgewater Monument is a tower on the property Ashridge ( Hertfordshire, England ), built in 1832 in memory of Francis Egerton, 3rd Duke of Bridgewater, the father of British inland navigation.

It's 33 meters high with 170 steps inside. Was designed the monument of Sir Jeffry Wyattville in Doric style.

From the tower you can look out to the village of Aldbury and the Grand Union Canal.
