Ashwini Akkunji

Ashwini Chidananda Akkunji (born 7 October 1987) is an Indian hurdler and sprinter.

In 2010 she won with the Indian team at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the 4 x 400 - meter relay. At the Asian Games in Guangzhou she won the 400 - meter hurdles and the 4 x 400 - meter relay.

In 2011 she was tested positive in a doping control on Methandrostenolone and locked because of this breach of the doping regulations for two years.
