  • D. d cashmeriense ( Gould 1858) is in the Himalayas,

The nominate wintered in Southeast Asia, although some reside in the vicinity of hot springs in the winter half-year. The subspecies D. d cashmeriense remain in their area of ​​distribution and adheres to only at lower elevations. The wintering area of D. d nigrimentale, however, is unknown.

Appearance

Adult Asian House Martins have the characteristic appearance of Delichon species. They have a dark bluish to black - body top. The body length of this species is 12 centimeters. The Asian House Martin differs from the sweltering also in Central Europe Mehlschwalbe by its gray throat and the gray -brown color of the wings. The Nepal swallow the other hand has a black throat; her tail acts just cut off.

Behavior

The Asian House Martin is a rock breeders that usually nests in colonies on rocky overhangs.
