Association of Saône Vosgienne country communes

The Communauté de communes du Pays de la Saône Vosgienne is a municipal merger of 19 municipalities in the south-west of Epinal Vosges department in Lorraine.

The Local Government Association has 3,748 inhabitants (1 January 2007) to 233.26 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 16 inhabitants / km ². Seat of the association is the small town Monthureux -sur -Saône, president Alain Roussel, who also serves as mayor of Claudon.

The territory of the association is in the catchment area of ​​the upper Saône - with the exception of the community Dombrot -le- Sec and Lignéville in the catchment area of ​​the river Meuse. The area is dominated by the heights of the Monts Faucilles. In the south the Association area borders the Haute- Marne and Haute -Saône. For municipal association includes all eleven municipalities of the canton Monthureux -sur -Saône, six municipalities of the Canton of Lamarche and two municipalities of the Canton of Vittel.
