Assomption (Montreal Metro)

Assomption is a metro station in Montreal. It is located in the arrondissement of Mercier - Hochelaga -Maisonneuve on the Boulevard de l' Assomption. Building

Designed by the architectural firm Duplessis et Labelle station was built in an open design. History

This name refers to 1950 by Pope Pius XII. proclaimed dogma that the Virgin Mary into heaven. During the planning phase, the station name Chauveau was still provided.
