Assyrian Democratic Organization ( abbreviation ADO; Syro -Aramaic ܡ ܛ ܟ ܣ ܬ ܐ ܐ ܬ ܘ ܪ ܝ ܬ ܐ ܕ ܝ ܡ ܩ ܪ ܛ ܝ ܬ ܐ, Arabic المنظمة الديمقراطية الآشورية ), also known as Mtakasto, is an Assyrian organization in Syria and in Europe.

The Syrian government banned the party from political life in Syria and restricted their activities a strong.

The party was founded in 1957, and their ideology is to protect and preserve the interests and minority rights of the Assyrian people. The foundation of the Assyrian Democratic Organization in Syria claims to be a coronation of the establishment of the Assyrian national movement across denominational in the Syriac Christians in Mesopotamia.

The Assyrian Democratic Organization has established itself as a national, political and democratic movement whose aim is to ensure the existence of the Assyrian people and the fulfillment of the legitimate national aspirations (political, cultural and administrative) in their historic homeland.
