Asteas

Asteas (fl. 350-320 BC in Paestum ) was a Greek, active in southern Italy vase painter of the red-figured style. He stood in front of a large workshop, in which mainly hydria and craters were painted. He painted mainly mythological and theatrical scenes. He was one of the few whose names are known, active in ancient Italy, vase painters.
