Astra (1930 automobile)

The Société Astra Motors SA was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles from Herstal. The brand name was Astra.

The company was founded on 22 January 1929. 1931 production ended.

Rolling stock

The company took over the front-drive prototypes of gem and developed it to series production. In December 1929, the car was presented at the Salon of Brussels. It was with an engine of S.C.A.P. equipped with 1,172 cc displacement. There was the four-door sedan body styles, two -seat coupe and an open touring car with two or three seats. Tests of models with six-cylinder engines and eight-cylinder engines were unsuccessful.
