Astrid Lødemel

Astrid Lødemel ( born December 9, 1971 in Oslo, Norway ) is a Norwegian former alpine skier.

The Downhill and Super -G specialist won in their careers in the World Cup 14 Top 10 places but a victory they could not update. As the best result it reached the second place in the Super G Vail in December 1992, where they forfeited only two hundredths of a second on the winner Ulrike Maier. A third place they reached in March 1993 in the departure of Morzine behind Katja Seizinger and Regina Häusl.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Albertville in 1992 was Astrid Lødemel 15th in the downhill and 22 in the combination. The highlight of her career was the Ski World Championship 1993 in Morioka. On the descent, she won the silver, three days later in Super G behind Katja Seizinger and Sylvia Eder the bronze medal behind Kate Pace. In 1995, she ended her career as a ski racer.
