Atarneus

Atarneus (Greek Άταρνεύς ) was an ancient city in Asia Minor landscape Aeolis. It is opposite the island of Lesbos northeast of the present-day Dikili.

His greatest importance was the place in the 4th century BC, when he served as the residence Hermias, who ruled from here and the area between Atarneus Assos. With him, Aristotle probably lived 347-345 BC as hospitality.
