Atlético Tucumán

Club Atlético Tucumán, usually referred to simply as Atlético Tucumán, is an Argentine sports club from San Miguel de Tucumán.

History

The club was founded in 1902 as one of the first sports clubs northern Argentina and devoted himself at the beginning, especially the football, the other sports followed over the years. The nickname Decano ( " Dean "), which in particular refers to the fans of the club, is attributed to the high age of the club.

The club plays since 1903 in white- light blue vertically striped jerseys and is considered the first club of Argentina, who used those dress colors.
