Construction

Operation

Auger can be driven by hand or by machine, such as a tractor power take-off shaft or a hydraulic system, which can be respectively driven by a diesel engine. By pressure from above, and a rotary movement of an auger is driven into the ground, until the drill bit is completely covered with soil. The pre-drill loosens the soil so that the drilling is facilitated. If the drill is too short, the drill string can be renewed depending on the type.
