August Sackenheim

August Sackheim (* August 5, 1905 in Duisburg, † April 19, 1979 ) was a German football player and coach.

Career

Sackville began his football career at SV Duisburg. Along with Hermann Flick, he moved in 1929 to Guts courage Dresden. For the club he played in the Gauliga Saxony. Later he joined the Dresdner SC.

After the Second World War Sackville became a coach. He has worked at SG Striesen in Dresden.

National

On October 20, 1929 Sackville debuted along with Flick and Fritz Szepan in the German national team. The 4-0 win against Finland, he contributed the last two matches.

Sackheim played the following year even against Switzerland and 1931 against Sweden and Norway. Another hit no longer succeed.
