Name
The name is derived from the Old High German aura Uraha. The provision for word means aurochs and the basic word aha watercourse. As an explanation this results in a watercourse, lived on the aurochs. The waters gave the municipality aura Sinngrund her name.
Geography
Course
It rises in the forest in a valley at Aura Aura in mind fundamental and flows in a southerly direction. In skins she meets her biggest tributary, the Fellach. At the mouth of the Aura changes its flow direction to the east. In Burg sense, close to the moated castle, it opens in the flood ditch, a tributary of the mind.
