Aurea (singer)

Aurea ( born September 7, 1987 in Santiago do Cacém ) is a Portuguese Soul-/Pop-Sängerin and songwriter.

Life

Once she wanted to be an actress, she decisive for a career as a singer. Your 2010 released album Aurea reached double - platinum status and remained over 70 weeks in the charts. Also the following live album reached the charts, and a number of singles as well, most notably the single Busy ( for me ), which was performed 44 weeks long in the charts and went to number one. She sang among others, before a packed house at the Centro Cultural de Belém, the Casino Estoril, and at Cinema São Jorge.

In 2010 she sang, allows of modern studio technology, produced with Elvis Presley Love Me Tender duet on which, as part of the Viva Elvis Cirque du Soleil album project. Even with the Hungarian singer Takács Nikolas took a duet on ( Where is the love), while her album in 2010 Hungary was also published, and it also appeared several times live there.

In 2011 she won Best Single Performer with the Globo de Ouro.

Aurea was awarded in November 2012 at the be held in Frankfurt am Main MTV Europe Music Awards 2012 as Best portuguese act. In 2011, she had won the award.
