Aussillon
Aussillon is a commune with 6313 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Tarn, in the Midi -Pyrénées; it belongs to the district of Castres and is located in the cantons Mazamet -Sud -Ouest. The inhabitants call themselves Aussillonnais.
Geography
Aussillon is located on the northern foothills of the Montagne Noire (Eng. "Black Mountain " ) west of Mazamet and about 15 kilometers southeast of Castres. The municipality is bounded on the north by the river Thoré.
