Bernardet was a French manufacturer of motorcycles and automobiles.

Company History

The three brothers René, Robert and Roger Bernardet founded in 1921, the company Scooters Bernardet Société Anonyme in Bourg- la -Reine. Initially a sidecar and motor scooters. In 1937 the company moved to Châtillon. Between 1947 and 1950 the company also produced a few automobiles. In 1957 the company was dissolved.

Automobile

It was produced in a small car. The four-cylinder two-stroke engine with 798 cc displacement and 23 hp was installed in front crosswise and drove to the front wheels. The open body offered three people side by side. 1949 followed the model of A 49 as a coupe, the four-cylinder engine was reduced to 746 cc.
