The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM; German Autonomous University of Madrid ) is a public comprehensive university in Madrid, which was founded in 1968. In 1971 she moved to the campus in Canto Blanco, where since that time almost all faculties are gathered. Starting this year, it was expanded and expanded until it was home to more than 30,000 students and more than 2,000 teachers in the academic year 2007/8.
