Avea İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., short Avea (formerly Aria ) is a GSM mobile phone network provider in Turkey.

History

Aria was the third mobile network operator in Turkey and also the first GSM operator, which has been introduced in the country a DCS 1800 network and exclusively used and made ​​available to its customers as of March 2001.

The company was a merger of Türkiye İş Bankası companies ( İş Bank) and Telecom Italia Mobile ( TIM) in October 2000. The last structural change, the company has completed in June 2004.
