Avraham Katz-Oz

Avraham Katz - Oz (Hebrew אברהם כ"ץ - עוז; born December 7, 1934 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli former politician.

Life

He joined the School of Agriculture from Pardes Hanna (Hebrew בית הספר התיכון החקלאי פרדס חנה ). Katz - Oz then studied at the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot and at the Department of Genetics in Jerusalem. He worked in the administration of Nahal Oz (Hebrew נַחַ " ל עֹז ) at Sderot and Netivot. Afterwards, he was secretary of the kibbutz movement Ichud HaKwuzot WeHaKibbuzim (Hebrew איחוד הקבוצות והקיבוצים, lit. Kvutzot the Union and the kibbutzim ) from 1969 to 1973. Knesset he was the Ma'arach 1977-1996. As a member of this group, he was Minister of Agriculture of 22 December 1988 to 15 March 1990.
