Axel Hilgenstöhler

Axel " Axe " Hilgenstöhler ( born August 21, 1975) is a German music producer and guitarist. He is a founding member of the band Thumb and played guitar in various bands such as Dog Eat Dog and 50 Cent. In 2003, Afrika Islam with Axel Hilgenstöhler the merger of The Machine.

Life

Axe enjoyed early musical education. Even in his earliest youth, he toured with Bands.1993 he founded together with Steffen Wilmking (drums), the band Thumb. Thumb toured Europe and the United States. 2002 Axe toured with Son Goku, 2004, The Machine and 2006 with Mr. X and Machine.

Axe was co-discoverer and promoter of young artists such as Clueso.

In 2007, Axe was a guitarist in Dog Eat Dog. He spent the next few years with international tours. Axe works in addition to his production work as musical director ( The Miracle of Bern ), as a sound engineer in live performance ( Simply Red Farewell Tour ) or incubator ( Artisto - Revolution - The " anthem" of freedom activists on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti ). Axe is also also CEO of UUWO (United Ukrainian World Organisation ).

Artists, actors, musicians and producers with whom has worked Axe are, among others, Afrika Bambaataa, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the mastermind of Public Enemy, Chuck D, Kool Keith, D- Rock by Body Count, Doug Wimbish, Vernon Reid of Living Colour, Ice-T, Giorgio Moroder ( Daft Punk), The Kelly Family, René Tinner, Helmut Zerlett, Sly & Robbie, Sally Oldfield, Nina Hagen, Meret Becker, Thomas D, Andreas Rieke, Jon Caffery ( The Toten Hosen ), Ralf Gold child ( Lucilectric ), Coolio, Gentleman, Virginia Nascimento, Pat Bernetti, Barbara Tucker, Afrob, DJ Tomekk, EL * KE, Cat, Dogs Chamber and Kajagoogoo.

2014 Axe played guitar on the solo album by Thomas D " Tommy Blank ".
