Ayandah

Ayandeh ( The Future) was published in 1925 in Tehran nationally minded political monthly magazine. It was founded by the political scientist Mahmoud Afshar. The publication, to determine after the deposition of the Qajar dynasty and the Parliament's decision, Reza Pahlavi as the new Shah, should contribute to nation building in Iran. Up to this point in the Iranian people, the idea of a nation state was not very pronounced. It defined itself either on the place where you were born, or the tribe.

Mahmoud Afshar was in addition to his editorial work also simultaneously lead author. The journal was divided into fixed categories of history, literature, social and economic. It was printed in the magazine printing house of the Iranian parliament.

In 1929, the magazine asked her appearance in first. After the Islamic revolution in 1979 Iraj Afshar busy, the son of Mahmoud Afshar, the magazine again. She appeared with a more scientifically oriented focus to 1994.
