Ayelet Shaked

Ajelet Shaked; Hebrew איילת שקד; ( born May 7, 1976) is an Israeli politician. She was chairman of the national-religious extra-parliamentary movement Yisrael scheli ( My Israel) and since 2013 Members of Knesset for the party HaBajit haJehudi (Jewish Home ).

Biography

She grew up near Tel Aviv. Her mother was a teacher in Tel Aviv. They later went to the army and served in the Golani Brigade. Shaked is married and has two children. In 2010 she founded together with Naftali Bennett, the extra-parliamentary movement My Israel, which she left in 2012.

Shaked 2012 has received the Abramowitz Israeli Prize for Media Criticism.
