Aywaille is a Belgian municipality located in the province of Liège.

It lies in the valley of the Amel at the foot of the Ardennes, is a place with tourist background. The main attraction are the caves of Remouchamps. The place is several times at some great cycling classics crosses a year to climb the famous Côte de la Redoute.

In the municipality merger of 1977, the formerly independent communities Sougné- Remouchamps, Deigné, Harzé and Ernonheid were incorporated.

Traffic

Aywaille has an express stop on the railway line Rivage -Trois Ponts.

The E 25 highway runs in a north-south direction by the municipality over a distance of 11 km and has two highway exits in Aywaille.
