Azercell

Azercell is an Azerbaijani mobile operator. He claims to be the market leader in the Caucasus state.

History

The company was founded in 1996 by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and the Turkish company Turkcell. It is now owned by the holding company " Fintur Holdings BV ", which in turn belongs to 58 % of Sweden's TeliaSonera and Turkcell to 42%.
