B. Bumble and the Stingers

B. Bumble And The Stingers is the name for changing combinations of musicians in the USA 1960-1965 for different purposes. The name became known in connection with two instrumental tracks: Bumble Boogie ( 1961) and Nut Rocker (1962), a very rocking variation of Tchaikovsky's " Nutcracker Suite".

After Nut Rocker had become a great success, was shortly put together by producer Kim Fowley of Rendezvous Records, a trio of television appearances and a promotional tour and invented a story. Then B. Bumble and the Stingers was founded in 1960 by William " Billy" Bumble and quickly got a record deal.
