B. C. Icemen

The BC Icemen were an American ice hockey team from Binghamton, New York. The team played from 1997 to 2002 in the United Hockey League.

History

The team was founded in 1997 as a franchise of the United Hockey League. After the team failed in their first two seasons each in the first round of the playoffs to the Colonial Cup, she reached in the 1999/2000 season round two, in which they the Fort Wayne Komets documents after a bye with 2:4 victories. In the years 1999 and 2000 BC Icemen occupied in the regular season each first place in the Eastern Division.

Following the 2001/ 02 season, the franchise was dissolved. The hole that was in the city, was subsequently filled by the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
