Abdul Rahman Baba (2012 )

Abdul Rahman Baba ( born July 2, 1994 Tamale ) is a Ghanaian football player who stands since 2012 for SpVgg Greuther Fürth under contract.

Career

Clubs

Baba began his career with Ghanaian club Dreamz FC. In summer 2011 he was in the Ghanaian top flight outfit Asante Kotoko, with whom he won the Ghanaian football championship awarded. The then football second division side SpVgg Greuther Fürth became aware of him through his achievements and signed him for the season 2012/13. His debut for the SpVgg he gave on 19 August 2012 at the DFB Cup when he came on in the 58th minute for Christopher Nothe. He saw, however, in the same game his first red card for the Fürth. His league debut came on 25 September 2012 ( 5th Round ) in the 0-2 defeat at home to Fortuna Dusseldorf with Substitutes for the second half for Heinrich Schmidtgal. During the season, he pushed him and was since the 18th Round regular at the Fürth.

National

In 2010, he was first appointed to the Ghana U -20 national team and in 2012 he was appointed captain of the U -20 team. In March 2013 Baba was first nominated by coach Kwesi Appiah James for the Ghanaian national football team.
