The wildlife park Bad Mergentheim is by his own admission one of the most biologically diverse wild and domestic animal park in Europe and was founded in 1973. The park is located on a hill in the forest about 1.5 kilometers southeast of Bad Mergentheim.

On a site area of ​​approximately 35 ha live in Europe various native species such as birds of prey, lynx, fallow and red deer, bison, wild boar and otters in largely natural enclosures.
