History

The Cooperative State University Baden -Württemberg Lörrach was founded in 1981 as a Cooperative Education Lörrach. For academic year 2004/ 5, the BA- Lörrach Erasmus University was. On 1 March 2009, she was, like all vocational colleges in Baden- Württemberg, part of the Baden -Württemberg. In 2012, she made around 2000 students in fifteen disciplines. On March 6, 2013 Prof. Dr. Theodor Sprollenhaus as successor by Bernd Martin was elected Rector of the University of Cooperative Education Lörrach - he accepted the rectorship on 26 April 2013.

Study

Peculiarity is the Duale Hochschule Baden- Württemberg Lörrach by their proximity to Basel ( Switzerland ) and Mulhouse in Alsace, France. In collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and the University of Upper Alsace two courses with participants from all three countries are offered. Here, the students are given three statements - one for each of the participating countries. The teaching is held in English, German and French.
