Badrud

Badrud (Persian بادرود, also Bādrūd and Bād Rūd, also known after his oldest district as Bād ) is a small town in Iran, and the administrative seat of the district Emamzadeh in Isfahan province.

Bād in 1969 described as a large village with 4500 inhabitants, who had to get their drinking water from 6 km away and irrigated their fields by qanats. In addition to agriculture in 1000 carpet looms were operated in the village at that time.

In the surrounding area has its own Iranian dialect is traditionally spoken, the Bādrūdi.
