BAE Systems HERTI
The BAE HERTI ("High Endurance Rapid Technology Insertion" ) is an unmanned aircraft for reconnaissance of the British company BAE Systems.
History
The HERTI had its maiden flight in December 2004 and is based in terms of technique on a motor yacht, designed by Jaroslaw Janowski of J & AS Aero Design from Poland. This was equipped with appropriate avionics for unmanned flight and video cameras. The first flight test took place in the Australian Woomera. Meanwhile, the HERTI of three countries and has operated test operations in Afghanistan behind.
