Baeda Maryam II

Ba'eda Mariam II was from 15 April to December 1795 Negest Negus ( Emperor ) of Ethiopia. He was possibly the son of Solomon II. Ba'eda Mariam passed through Ras Wolde Gabriel to the throne and was crowned on 18 May 1795 in Aksum. The traveler Henry Salt lists him among the emperors who were alive during his visit in northern Ethiopia 1809/1810.

EA Wallis Budge, according to some scholars represented the view that it is Ba'eda Mariam same person as Solomon III. concerns.
