Bagré Department

Bagre is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African nation of Burkina Faso, in the region of Centre- Est and the province Boulgou.

In 2006, the municipality had 29 164 inhabitants in three villages. In the field of bagre is the bagre reservoir.

The bagre region is known throughout Burkina Faso as a rice-growing area.
