Bai Island

Pulau Bai is one belonging to Malaysia island in the Sandakan Bay. The bay with the island belongs geographically to the Sulu Sea.

History

William B. Pryer, the founder of the city of Sandakan acquired the island in 1890 by the North Borneo Chartered Company and began various agricultural projects there. So he planted on the island to various products such as coconuts, coffee and Betelnusspalmen and livestock operation.
