Bailadores is the capital of the district ( municipality ) in the southwestern Rivas Davila of the Venezuelan states of Mérida. Bailadores, located in a plateau of the Cordillera Central in the valley of the river Mocotíes is known for its agricultural products and a popular destination.

History

Bailadores was founded on the initiative of the judge Pedro de Santa Fé de Bogotá sand out of the Captain Luis Martín Martín on 14 September 1601.
