Baleizão is a municipality, Freguesia in Portugal in the county and district of Beja, with 139.7 km ² Plot with 903 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). This gives a population density of 6.46 inhabitants / km ².

Catarina Eufémia was shot on May 19, 1954, the Monte do Olival. It was considered a resistance fighter against the Salazar regime.
