Băleni, Dâmbovița

Baleni is a Romanian community in Dâmboviţa county in the historical region of the Great Wallachia. Parish seat is baleni - Sârbi.

Geographical location

The municipality lies at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level, has about 8,600 inhabitants and is composed of two districts together, baleni - Sârbi ( " Serbian - baleni ", the western part ) and baleni - Români ( " Romanian - baleni " eastern ).
