The Balikesir Körfez Havaalani Airport, also called Edremit / Burhaniye Airport is a Turkish regional airport at the apex of the Bay of Edremit, whose catchment area extends from Assos in the north to Ayvalik or Altinova in the south of the bay. Balikesir Körfez Havaalani - not to be confused with the airport 76 km away lying Balikesir province capital - is operated by the State DHMI.

The airport was in 1997, transferred the operation and will be used only for civilian purposes.
