Ballard Down

Ballard Down is an area of ​​open chalk cliffs on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, on the south coast of England, approximately 17 kilometers southwest of Bournemouth.

It forms a headland called Ballard Point between Studland Bay and Swanage Bay on the English Channel. Ballard Down is located about nine kilometers south of the town of Poole. When Ballard Down Old Harry Rocks, Handfast Point, begins the Jurassic Coast (a World Heritage Site).
