Ballet shoe

Ballet shoes are shoes that are worn during ballet training. The ballet shoes are made of leather, canvas or satin. The sole consists of either a continuous piece of suede or two pieces of leather on the ball and heel. They enclose the foot like a second skin and allow due to their softness, that the floor can be felt by the foot and the foot can be good stretch to the top. Not to be confused are those ballet slippers with lace shoes, the soles hard and have a reinforced toe. They also differ from Gymnastikschläppchen.
