Balmazújváros
Balmazújváros ( German: Neustadt on Heiduckenboden d ) is a city and administrative center of the homonymous small area in Hajdú-Bihar county in eastern Hungary. Covering an area of 205.45 km ² live nearly 17,400 inhabitants ( 2011). The city is connected to the railway line Debrecen Füzesabony.
In the Catholic city church is the altarpiece "The Ascension " by Hubert Maurer.

History
The territory has been inhabited since ancient times. At the time of Árpád, there were several villages, the names are still preserved ( Bakoč, Cucca, Balmaz Himes, Darassa, nursery, etc.).
