Baltasar Lobo
Baltasar Lobo ( born February 22, 1910 in Cerecinos de Campos province of Zamora, † September 4, 1993 in Paris) was a Spanish sculptor. He was known for his compositions on " Mother and Child".
In 1939 he moved to Paris, where his work among others was influenced by Constantin Brancusi and Jean Arp. Lobos works in 1945 at the Galerie Vendôme ( Rue de la Paix ) shown alongside works by Henri Matisse, Fernand Léger, Maurice Utrillo, and Pablo Picasso. 1946 his works were exhibited at the Galerie Drouin.
In Zamora, the Museo Baltasar Lobo was opened.
