Balysh Ovezov

Balysch Owesowitsch Owesow (also Balysh Ovezov written; Russian Балыш Овезович Овезов, turkmen Balys Öwezow; . * 16 Dezemberjul / December 29 1915greg in Bedekent at Taschaus, Russian Empire, .. † October 1, 1975 in Ashgabat, Turkmen SSR) was a Soviet- Turkmen politician. He was from 1960 to 1969 General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Turkmen SSR.

Life

Owesow 1897 Bedekent near Taschaus, in today's Turkmenistan (then part of the Russian Empire ) was born in the village. He orphaned early and graduated from the Higher Party School of the Central Committee and the pedagogical institute in Ashgabat. Owesow first worked as a teacher and was also responsible for the Komsomol, the Soviet youth organization, works. He took over many of the activities in the Communist Party and rose to the rank order on and on.

1960 Owesow was eventually appointed Secretary General of the Communist Party of the Turkmen SSR in, was thus de facto head of government of today's Turkmenistan. Private

How many Soviet citizens lived Owesow in an international family, his wife was Uzbek. He had six children. In 1975, he died at only 59 years in Ashkhabad. His 1939 geborenener son Batyr Owesow was a scientist and professor in Moscow and a member of the Turkmen Academy of Sciences.
