Bambarakanda

The Bambarakanda waterfall with a height of 240 meters ( according to other sources 263 meters ) the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and one of the beauties of the country. The waterfall is located west of Kalupahana and is across the street Badulla - Colombo accessible. It marks the edge of the Ceylonese highlands. However impressive it is only during the rainy season (October to March).
