Ban'etsu East Line

The Ban'etsu - East Line (Japanese磐 越 东线, Ban'etsu - Tōsen ) is a Japanese railway line which runs in Fukushima prefecture, between the towns of Iwaki and Kōriyama. The name Ban'etsu consists of the name of the former provinces of Iwaki (磐 城) and Echigo (越 后), which are connected to each other by the Ban'etsu - East Line and the Ban'etsu - West line. The Ban'etsu - East Line is nicknamed Yuyu Abukuma Line (Japaneseゆうゆうあぶくまライン) in reference to Abukuma they crossed. It is operated by the JR East line
