Bang Bua Thong District

Amphoe Bang Bua Thong ( Thai: อำเภอ บางบัวทอง ) is a district ( Amphoe ) of the province ( Changwat ) Nonthaburi Central Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo province of Pathum Thani, and Amphoe Pak Kret which, Mueang Nonthaburi, Sai Noi and Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province.

Management

The district is divided into eight subdistricts ( tambon), which in turn in 82 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There are two cities ( Mueang thesaban ) in the district:

  • Bang Bua Thong ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง บางบัวทอง ) consists of the whole tambon Sano Loi as well as parts of the tambon Bang Bua Thong, Bang Rak Yai, Phimon Council and Bang Rak Phatthana,
  • Phimon Council ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง พิมล ราช ) consists of parts of tambon Phimon advice.

There are also six administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
