Bằng Kiều

Bằng Kieu (born 13 July 1973 in Hanoi ) is a Vietnamese singer.

Life

Childhood

Bang Kieu was born on 13 July 1973 in Hanoi in a musical, artistic family. Since his mother was already a singer of traditional Vietnamese music, he already showed while he attended primary school keen interest in music.

Study

In 1989 he began studying art at Nhac Vien Ha Noi. There he played the bassoon, but due to the fact that he loved singing and the appearance on the stage more, he and his fellow students at Nhac Vien Ha Noi a band. The first band was called The Golden Key, but later he was a member of the band Hoa Sua, which consisted of the now-famous singers and artists such as Ngoc Chau, Quang Trung Vu, Ngoc Hung, Luong Ngoc Minh, etc.. The band helped him to further improve his sängerisches talent and also to increase its notoriety, among other things, with appearances at schools and universities between 1990 and 1996.

Breakthrough, The Watermelon and solo career

In 1997, he managed the big breakthrough, as the singer My Linh asked him if he wanted to record a duet with her. A short time later, the two sang several number one hits, such as New Dieu Dó xay ra, Giot Suong Tren Mi Mat Trai Tim Khong Ngu Yen or trong.

In 1998, he founded the band The Watermelon, which consisted of the artists Tu Anh, Tuan Hung, Tuong Van and him. The Watermelon quickly gained great success, but the band members left in 2000, so that Bang Kieu sought a solo career, which he continues to this day.

Family

Since 2002, Bang Kieu Phuong Trinh is married to Trizzie, with whom he moved to America in the same year. In 2003, she gave birth to their first child, a boy, whom they named Beckam Bang Phuong, and in 2006 a second child named Colin Bang Bang Kieu Anh He currently lives with his family in Huntington Beach, California.
